Arnold's Bicycles

Provincetown Bicycle Rentals by Arnold’s Bike Shop has been selling and renting bikes to local and vacationing bicycle riders since 1937.  In Provincetown, bicycle riding is a decades old tradition.

Art Galleries

Friday night is “gallery night” in Provincetown. Tour the many galleries in the East End Gallery district. Too many to list here.

Art’s Dune Tours

Imagine dunes stretching as far as you can see with wispy beach grass, dark green pine trees and deep red beach plums nestled in hollows which are brought together by a silhouette of blue sky. You will travel through the majestic dunes where your guide points out the “dune shacks” where famous artists and writers like Eugene O’Neill and Harry Kemp became inspired to create their art.

The Provincetown Art Association and Museum is a nationally recognized, year-round cultural institution that fuses the creative energy of America’s oldest active art colony with the natural beauty of outer Cape Cod that has inspired artists for generations.

Pilgrim Monument

The Pilgrim Monument was founded in 1892 as the Cape Cod Pilgrim Memorial Association—Cape Cod’s oldest not-for-profit organization. Its purpose is to commemorate the Mayflower Pilgrims’ first landing in the New World in Provincetown, in November 1620. - See more at:

Provincetown Public Library

In 1873, the Provincetown Public Library was given to the town by Nathan Freeman. Mr. Freeman stipulated in his deed that the first floor must always be used for a library. Over the years, the second and third floors were used by various charitable organizations. Some of the rental income helped to support the library. Local photographer George C. Nickerson was the first to occupy the third floor.

Provincetown Trolley, Inc.

Welcome to Provincetown, the shining jewel of Cape Cod. Provincetown Trolley will take you on a 40-minute narrated tour of Provincetown, the first landing place of the Pilgrims. You will travel Commercial Street. You'll see the art district, hundreds of boutiques, and beautiful Cape Cod homes. See panoramic views of Provincetown Harbor (the 2nd largest natural harbor in the world), Cape Cod Bay, and magnificent Atlantic Ocean. You will go through the 4,000 acre National Seashore Park.

Visitor Centers Cape Cod National Seashore

Offering breathtaking views of Nauset Marsh and the Atlantic beyond, this Visitor Center is also convenient to the popular 1.5 mile Nauset Marsh Trail and the Buttonbush Trail, a .25 mile multi-sensory trail that featuring a guide rope and text panels printed in large lettering and Braille, and the Nauset Bicycle Trail.
