Please review our policies below and let us know if you have any questions or concerns. We strive to make your stay very comfortable!

Guests at Secret Garden Inn


  • Rooms are limited to a maximum of 2 guests.
  • We cannot accommodate children under age 18.
  • Secret Garden Inn is a no smoking property. Anyone who smokes on the premises will be asked to find other accommodations and assessed a $250 cleaning fee.
  • Candles are not permitted in guest rooms.
  • Guests are responsible for any losses/damages.
Pets at Secret Garden Inn


  • Dogs are welcome for an additional fee of $35 per night per dog. 
  • Dogs must be well behaved and get along with guests as well as other dogs.  Please note your dog must be house broken as potty pads are not allowed.
  • Owners of dogs that disrupt other guests will be asked to remove their pet immediately and find other accommodations for their pet. There is no longer a  kennel available in town.
  •  Notification of a dog guest must be provided to the inn at the time a reservation  is made. 

Vehicles at Secret Garden Inn


  • Parking is available on a first come first serve basis at a fee of $10-$18 per night. Please call to reserve.
  • We have 2 tandem spaces available, 4 spots total.
  • We retain keys of cars on the premises to provide guests access to their vehicle as needed.
  • Secret Garden Inn is not liable for any damage to vehicles.
Reservations at Secret Garden Inn


  • A 50% credit card deposit is due at the time of booking.
  • Balance is due at the time of check-in.
  • We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover.
  • Minimum stay requirements are applicable during certain time periods.
  • For less than a 2-night stay, payment in full is required when booking.
  • We do not accept personal checks.
  • Rates do not include state and local taxes totaling 14.45%.
Cancellations at Secret Garden Inn


  • Cancellations must be made in writing to Secret Garden Inn.
  • If booked via a 3rd party booking site, the cancellation must be done directly with the respective booking site.
  • Cancellations prior to 30 days before your scheduled arrival will receive a full refund less a fee equal to 10% of your total reservation.
  • Cancellations within 30 days prior to your arrival will be refunded, less a fee equal to 10% of your total reservation, provided we are able to re-rent the room for the entire time period.
  • There are no refunds for no-shows, early departures or late arrivals.  Partial stays and cancellations on the day of scheduled arrival will be charged the full balance of the reservation.
  • No refunds are given due to medical or family emergencies, bad weather, missed or canceled flights or ferry, change of plans, etc.

Check-In / Out

  • Check-in: 2 to 6 PM
    • If arriving earlier than 2 PM, you are welcome to drop your luggage and begin exploring Provincetown.
    • If arriving after 6 PM, please call ahead to arrange late check-in.
  • Check-out: 11 AM
    • If departing town after 11 AM, guests are welcome to leave their luggage until their departing time. 
    • Please remember when returning for luggage, rooms and bathrooms are no longer available for use.
